Update 0.0.3: Tech and Difficulty Curve
It's been a while. However, I haven't given up on this project,
This new major update features a new mechanic: Technologies, alongside an awarness/infestation increase system that makes the mid and late game harder.
The technologies mechanic gives the player the option of researching upgrades to either improve the effectiveness of his actions or to significantly reduce the cost of them. As is expected from an upgrade system, researching these upgrades will require time and money, so the player will need to be careful before deciding to invest in a technology, as it might leave him vulnerable in the short term.
To compliment and incite players to make use of the tech tree, the awareness and infestation countries suffer will get bigger as the year progresses, so the player will find himself in an arms race against time, as he tries to improve the agency before he finds himself in an unwinnable situation.
Finally, this update also replaces all AI art and adds some small QOL improvements.
Be ready for a minor update soon enough.
